HMSA Curriculum for Success
In order to graduate with a HMSA diploma, every student must complete the required courses listed below. The courses are classified by the A – G subject requirements. These A – G requirements are certified by the University of California school system. Students must also pass the California High School Exit Exam (CAHSEE). HMSA is a true college preparatory high school, with every student required to take the PSAT, SAT and ACT.

Required “A – G” Courses
“A” - History/Social Science
3 courses, 3 years, 30 credits

“B” - English
4 courses, 4 years, 40 credits

“C” - Math
