Required and Optional Courses
HMSA offers a variety of Honors and Advanced Placement courses to
enhance the curriculum of the motivated student. These courses include
Honors classes for 10th grade English, chemistry and pre-calculus, and
Advancement Placement courses in the following: World History, U.S.
History, U.S. Government, English Language and Composition, English
Literature, Spanish Language, Spanish Literature, Two-Dimensional Art,
Physics B & CB, Environment Science, and Calculus AB & BC. HMSA
currently hosts West Los Angeles College on campus, offering Drama and
French classes to interested students.
